Hi,
I have a brand new SunFire 280R server, delivered just before
Christmas. I need to open the front door / panel to install
a 2nd 36Gb FC-AL internal disk drive. All the literature I've
found on the net and in the User's Guide suggest that all you
need to is turn the keyswitch to the power-on/off position to
unlock to front doors, and that you don't need any special
tool to open them. I have been unsuccessful!
Before I try a large screwdriver, a hammer or arc welder, can
anyone suggest how you open the doors more gently? I'd really
like to finish tinkering and put this machine into production
over the weekend.
Thanks in advance for any advice you might have.
Regards, David
