Hello managers,
I have a server that needs to be upgraded from Solaris 2.6 to 2.8.
I have recommended to the owner that he allow me to do a new install rather than upgrade as I have heard upgrades are notoriously difficult and often fail. He still wants to procede with an upgrade instead.
I am trying to locate some information that will help me complete this successfully but am not having any luck. Can any of you Gurus point me to a document or procedure that will help? Tried the SUN site but found no help there.
The server is an Ultra2 running Solaris 2.6 105181-30.
