UPDATE: cannot fsck or boot cdrom

Ok, it seems some of the drives on the controller is down (*maybe* the
controller is seperate from the mb) but that doesn't explains why I
can't boot off the cdrom to run fsck or troubleshoot more...probe-scsi
sees the cdrom just fine (below).
