Hello All,

I think this is quite simple and I can't find any reference to it.

Is it possible to store the PID of a program that you started by cron into a
file?

Thanks in advance - Will summarize.

Subject: drive with bad sectors

I have a sick ultra 10 with a 20 gig ide in it. Has a ton of bad sectors. I
want to try and add the bad sectors tot he bad sector list if possible
without nuking and re-formatting the drive. Is there any way to do this or
am I basically forced to reformat the drive?

Your input appreciated.
