Failure to set LED's?

In a case that seems contagious, I have two identical E250's that are
reporting similar LED problems. Log entries from both:

Dec 1 09:30:21 mach1 unix: WARNING: envctrltwo0: Write to PCF8591 (SETFAN)
failed
Dec 1 09:30:21 mach1 unix:
Dec 8 12:30:11 mach1 unix: WARNING: envctrltwo0: Write to PCF8574A (FSP)
failed
Dec 8 12:30:11 mach1 unix: WARNING: envctrltwo0: Setting of Front Status
Panel LEDs failed
Dec 8 12:30:11 mach1 unix: WARNING: envctrltwo0: Failure detected during
temperature poll

Dec 10 18:59:38 machine2 unix: WARNING: envctrltwo0: Failed to blink
activity LED

Searching Sun/the web didn't reveal anything, prtdiag reports no problems,
and the LED's all look fine. Any help in diagnosing what is failing would
be appreciated.
Thanks!
