Disk partitions

I think I know the answer but it will save a lot of work (and provide that
peace of mind thing) if I can verify this. I'm installing Solaris 8 on an
E250. It already had an install from the dealer but they put everything in
one 18G partition on the 18G disk and I don't want that. During the
reinstall, I must have blinked and missed the part that would have explained
how I ended up with swap on partition 1 but starting at cylinder 7070 out of
7505. The installer coughed up some errors about manual disk configuration
and made me partition it by cylinder (!) and now I have a 6G / filesystem on
partition 0 and swap on partition 1 and technically no cylinders left on the
disk. I tend to be very orderly and I've never tried this or even thought
about it but does the disk care if things are in order? Can I start
partition 3 with cylinder # 3000 if partition 1 starts at 7070? I believe
it doesn't care but will it make things such a mess that I'll wish later
that I had gone ahead and reinstalled now?
