Hi

Thanks for all those who helped me in answering this question.The commands
used for checking the speed given by most are

ndd -get /dev/hme link_speed

If you get 0, its 10 MBPS
If you get 1, its 100 MBPS

AND

"netstat -k", the parameter to look for is ifspeed, one for each interface.
