Xvfb & olvm Question

We have Solaris 8 and Oracle 9ias version 9 release 2.
Apparently Oracle needs what I will call an open
console session (when Oracle is brought up manually
(whole other story) if you logoff Oracle crashes down.
Oracle's metalink suggested using Xvfb and olvm

I have issued the following commands and we seem to be
able to logoff the userid that starts Oracle 9ias.

Xvfb :1 -ac -screen 0 1024x768x8
/usr/openwin/bin/olwm -display localhost:1

My questions are with the Xvfb command what is the -ac
option, I have searched for the man pages but they
don't indicate an a or c option.

Second question, if I understand Xvfb then why do I
need olvm?

If anyone can help clarify this for me I would
appreciate it. Also if anyone has a better way to get
Oralce 9ias to start up, with or with Xvfb I would
also appreciate it.
