Dear SunManagers,

I have a Netra AC200 machine running Solaris 8 (KJP
108528-16).

I can't bootup Netra T1 AC200 without connect a
terminal console. When Netra AC200 is at OS level and
when I reboot system from remote login, system only
booted up half way. I had waited for more 10 mins but
system did not come up successfully.

After which, I need to use laptop and hyper terminal
for console using serial port. Screen shows that it
stopped at "configuring IPv4 interfaces:"
Then I need to connect the console and it then
successfully bootup. When I disconnect serial cable
from serial port, it can't continue boot until
I need to reconnect cable into serial port again.

I had already set both the "ttya-ingore-cd=true" and
"ttyb-ingore-cd=true" in my OBP prompt.

I want to know must I connect a serial cable in order
to boot up this Netra AC200 to OS level when I issued
a reboot. If not, what are the things i miss out that
could cause it to stop at that state.

Please enlighten me what could be the possible causes
and how can I narrow down the problem. What parameters
on OBP and LOM should I be checking.

TIA.

Regards,
Bong
