How to get secondary swap to become active on reboot

We are having a problem, on Solaris 7 and 8 systems, with our secondary
swap files.

We add a swap file as per Sun's online documentation:
        mkdir /files
        mkfile 24m /files/swapfile
        swap -a /files/swapfile
        vi /etc/vfstab
        (and add)
                /files/swapfile - - swap - no -
        swap -l

The file is added as a swapfile successfully. On a reboot, however,
it never is added, must be added manually each time with a "swap -a"
command. Can anyone tell me what's wrong with this picture??????

Many TIA!
