SS10 serial splitter cable

I'm prepping to make my own serial splitter cable for a Sparc 10. Looking
at the pinouts from
http://www.stokely.com/unix.serial.port.resources/A-B-Ycablepinout.html
I have a question about the ttyb end. On the a/b combined end, pin 18 is
Transmit Clock/B and pin 25 is Transmit Clock/B DTE source
There is no listed pins on ttyb for those (expecting 15 and 24
respective). Am I to believe that the transmit clocks aren't used on an
async serial port? If that's the case, then great. I'll save some
soldering time.
Thanks for your time.
