I have an urgent requirement to setup a DHCP server. We have 1 spare Ultra
30 - 250mhz processor, 512MB memory. I have Solaris 8/9 in house that I
could use. We are going to have anywhere from 500-1000 users spread over 2-5
vlans. Does anyone have any recommendations on which version of Solaris to
run, what DHCP Server to use, if I need to get a bigger machine.
Also, we are open to using Linux also, so if there is anyone that has
implemented that in this size env., I am open for suggestions.
