Hi,

we have two Sunfire 6800 running the latest Solaris 8 OS and patches with
VCS 2.0.

Oracle 8.1.7 is running on the servers

Question: We want to add disk heart beat to this set up and the only disk
that are visible to the servers are the T3.
1- Where should a place this disk heartbeat ? On my disk # 0 or on disk 2 3
4 5 6 7 ?
2- Any know issue with T3 / VCS disk heartbeat ?

We have:

1- FC-AL fthat connect my 2 servers to a T3 array of disk.
2- T3 is separate in 3 parts like this
disk 0 mirror to disk 1 Oracle redo logs
        disk 2 3 4 5 6 7 raid 5 Oracle database
(index and data)
disk 8 Hot Spare Hot spare
2- VCS 2.0 is configure with network heartbeat
4- I can add a small slice in the T3.
5- Oracle is running on the server and since we have 16 GB ram, disk are not
really used a lot for the database !

TIA.
