t1 no su devs, reboot, now panics on boot

i was looking to tip off of a sun t1, but lo, there was no /dev/term/b -
indeed, under /devices/.../ebus.. there were no su devices at all. how
strange. modinfo showed the su driver loaded, and prtconf showed two serial
ports. i tried a drvconfig -i su, nothing, and i tried modunload and it said
su was busy, and a reboot was needed.

i rebooted, it didn't come back. when i got onto the serial, it was panicing
on boot. (i don't know if it paniced when shutting down or on boot the first
time). it now always panics on boot. show-devs in the obp shows serial ports
as did prtconf. any thoughts?

i have another t1 also with no /dev/term/* and no
/devices/pci@1f,0/pci@1,1/ebus@1/su@*. what is going on here? there is one
last t1 that does have the su devs.

there's an uncorrectable error on memory, but this guy was running fine
before the whole serial port thing; more than one problem here?

i neglected to show-post-results but here is the post status (if it can be
decoded offline):
