tunneling rdist through ssh

Managers,
We are trying to tunnel rdist through ssh. We are using
this command: "rdist -P /usr/bin/ssh -f /etc/distfile". We have a
problem however. We are trying to use a non-standard port for ssh (port
922, or something like that). We've changed the port in the
/etc/ssh/sshd.conf file, and we've changed the port in the /etc/services
file. We still get hit with a connection refused message when we try to
rdist from one server to another. Is it possible to use a non-standard
port for ssh when trying to tunnel rdist through it?
            Thanks.

Darryl
