Hi .
I need to make a backup of my databases in postgres but i havent a lot of space
in disk. i want to use the command "pg_dump" and send the dump to tape, i know
that an way to do it is "pg_dump -Ft namedb>file.tar" but i need to do many
backups and i dont know how to pass parameters to tar.
If i put "pg_dump namedb |tar /dev/rmt/n" it doesnt works.
plz help me
