OK strange one;
hostname:/# shutdown -g0 -i6 -y
Shutdown started Date......blah
Changing to init state 6 - please wait
Braodcast message from root ..blah
THE SYSTEM hostname IS BEING SHUT DOWN........
Log off now blah.......
waits several minutes then comes back to prompt
hostname:/#
ok then - where exactly are we ?
hostname:/# who -r
. run-level 6 date 6 0 3
Im at run level 6 ?? ( stop OS and reboot ) so what's going on here then ?
Help - i need to bounce but cant affort to halt, tried init 5 also same
issue !!
