Does anyone know of any specific differences between Solaris 2.6 and Solaris 9
modem implementations? A friend is having problems using a modem under
Solaris 9. He said he gets connected to the modem but that a getty is not
spawned. He's trying to use pppd under Solaris 9. Any pointers or tips
would be appreciated.
Just fyi....I've already check www.stokley.com and they direct us to Sun's
sight. John was unable to find anything useful for configuring pppd under
Solaris 9.......
