Managers,

I use the following command to dump my root file system

ufsdump 0ucf /dev/rmt/0mn /
mt -f /dev/rmt/0mn offline.

If I use the same commands after one week on the same tape. This will appends the data or rewrite the whole tape.

If it appends I want to use " mt erase"
Can some one clarify me.
