Dear Sun Gurus,
I tried to install 'Forte Developer 6 update 2 (Sun Workshop 6 update2
) ' on 'SunOS dusun3 5.7 Generic_106541-22 sun4u sparcSUNW,Ultra-5_10'
system. The default installation is in '/opt' directory. The web start
shows the installation is complete. But, in the '/opt' folder , not a
single software is installed. I applied all the patches mentioned in the
readme.txt. Before installing it, I uninstalled all the packages related
to 'Sun Forte Developer6 Update2' using java web uninstall. In the log
file it says, packages are already installed in '/log' folder. So, the
instalation was not complete. But, the "/log" folder is empty except
the swap space . I am also attaching the log file (install.txt) as an
attachment. If anyone of you have confronted such type of problem,
please help me.
