High %sys in 'sar' report of database server

Hi all,
        Our database server, (SUN 4800 ,OS- Solaris 8, 4 CPU, 4 GB RAM and 80 GB
database in Sun Storedge T300 ) running oracle database server is showing
high %sys in sar reports while executing long running queries. We have 400
concurrent oracle users connected to the database. The sar report is shown
below.

What could be the reason . Is it because of any contention? If so how to
find out the files / processes / system calls causing contention?
