solstice backup question

Managers,
We are running Solstice Backup 5.5 on a Solaris 2.6 box
(E5500). Recently, we had to re-install the software after a system
crash. The configuration files were still intact, and the installation
went smoothly. However, now, instead of getting greater than 70 GB of
backed up data per tape (compressed), we are now being limited to 20 GB.
In the /var/adm/messages file, we get a message something like the
following:

"Solstice Backup media: open(notice) DLT7000 tape Unix onsite 16 used 20
GB of 35 GB capacity"

I realize this is scant information, but any ideas on what might be the
cause of the limitation?
            Thank you.

Darryl
