Solution was to install patch 107915-13 and boot -r.
Original post below:
I installed a SunATM card in pci slot 3 on a Ultra 5, Solaris 2.7. Did
show-devs and the device is recognized. I then installed the drivers from
the SunATM 4.0 Update 1 CD.
# pkginfo | grep atm
system SUNWatm SunATM Device Drivers

application SUNWatmu SunATM Runtime Support Software
According to the users guide you must complete the network configuration
for the SunATM interface and to use /etc/opt/SUNWconn/bin/atmadmin to do
so. Also says you must configure the SunATM software before rebooting your
system. When I run the atmadmin command I get the error below.
#/etc/opt/SUNWconn/bin/atmadmin
Cannot open the ATM driver; exiting
prtconf shows that the driver is not attached.
Anyone know what this error is??? Thanks.
