Hello
I have a serial cable with a null modem adaptor that has a DB25 connector at
one end, allowing me to connect to serial port A on the Sun (Solaris 8 Ultra
30)server and the smaller DB9 connector to my device that I'm tring to see and
per the vendor I should just see the menu for there product.
What is a good way to connect to /dev/ttya so I can view my console on ttya?
Should I use tip, cu?? I have tried tip but i only see connected:
tip -9600 /dev/ttya
connected
Any ideas or suggestions would be great. Thanks up front.
