Hi All:
After further investigation, cpio failed due to corrupted file - system
crashed while someone else was using the file. Few weeks earlier. I could
not copy or move the file so I deleted it. Now it seemed to working.

Does any one knows why cpio failed and give out following error message.
cpio: Cannot read "/users/...../met.dat", errno 5, I/O error
1 errors
I have backup the same data for many times using cpio and never had any
problems until now.
Any help would be appreciated.
