Downgrading patches

Hi,

Got a pair of V880s in a VCS cluster that have been
updated to kernel rev -15 (108528-15) from rev-12 via
the 8_Recommended kit. Problem is they should have
been upgraded to rev -13. During the same upgrade
Veritas VM was moved from V3.1 to V3.2. The question
now is - how to I get these systems back down to rev-
13? The guys doing the upgrades didn't generate a
system image beforehand (no tape drive available) so I
can't just roll back to the original rev -12.

As I see it I have two options: wipe and start from
scratch or try removing the 8_Recommended cluster to
roll back to rev -12 and upgrade to -13 afterwards. I
see problems with the second option due to the
presence of the Veritas upgrade layered on top of the
Solaris update. Starting from scratch is major
undertaking. It's complicated by the fact that we have 5
other clusters, all of which are supposed to be identical
and only this one has been done wrong. If we wipe and
rebuild it will take about a week to do and there's more
chance of diivergence from the other clusters.

Anyone got recommendations on what my best course
of action is (other than tidying up our operating
procedures ;-) ).

Cheers

Joe
