Hi, my question wasn4t clear.
I can4t boot the server because there is another one with this IP and
this one is up and running (some stupid guy changed the IP, I don4t know
why).
As I said before, we have lots of installservers, so to find out which one
causes the problem thru reading the /etc/ethers is a hard job and I can4t
disturb
the running server (it is a DB server).
I am searching for an option to do this without configuring the booting
server
with this IP, i. e. sending such things like MAC queries and getting the
data
from the responding server.
