Sun E250 Internal PCI Modem

I have an E250 that I am trying to get a PCI modem to work in.
The modem is a USR 56k Hardware modem.
Below is the text from a diagnostics boot where it scans the PCI slots.
When I install the modem I get the
"Probing /pci@1f,2000 at Device 1 serial" line there. Without the modem
installed it says "Nothing there" in Device 1.

I have an outbound faxing application that currently is using an external
modem on "ttyb" as the configuratino port. I wish to add a second
outbound line. The software supports it but I am not sure what I have to
put in my configut to access the modem in the "Device 1 serial" slot.

Any help appreciated.
Reply to padair@pntsi.ca and I will summarize to the list.
Thanks, Paul

PS. No need to reply if all your sending is the link to the "Unix Serial
Port Resources" web site. I have been there and I cannot seem to find
anything to solve my problem.
