Our developers have built a server process using java that runs under
Solaris 2.6 and above.
The process id shows up when issuing a ps -ef
They are asking me if there is anyway that they can work with the process
that is already running (ie from system boot) from their xterm windows.
The best example they can give me of what they want to do would be the
equivalent of taking a process running in the background and bringing it to
the foreground.
Can any one offer any suggestions?
I will summarize in detail.
