Veritas Volume Manager 3.2 question:

I have 2 servers. Both have internal and external disks.
The internal disks are mirrored with the external disk so they are in the
same diskgroup.

If 1 server goes down, I want to be able to import just the external disks
to the other server. My dilemma being that I want only some of the disks in
this diskgroup
will be imported.

Is my only option to use the -f (force) when using the import command? And
if so, is this is safe thing to do?
