Web Based FTP on SOl8

Hello Gurus....

Not a very smart question I guess, but I realy do not have the answer.

I have an FTP server-good? I need to make it web based FTP where users logon
to a url and click to ftp(get/put). Do I have to install apache and create a
homepage with an FTP link? If yes, does anyone have some guidelines? Is that
the only way?
