Hi all,
while try to send mail from outlook express client we are
getting
the following error..
The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was
rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was
gnanu26@rediffmail.com. Subject 'Test mail. ', Account:
'mail.xyzabc.com', Server: 'mail.xyzabc.com', Protocol: SMTP,
Server Response: '550 5.7.1 <gnanu26@rediffmail.com>... Relaying
denied. IP name lookup failed [xx.xx.xx.xx]', Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Server
mail server : linux with sendmail 8.11
from the server we are able to send & receive mails to all
domains with mail
command
while try to use pop3 we face problems.
we are able to send and receive mails internally
user1@xyzabc.com
to user2@xyzabc.com with pop3 client.. but when we give some
other
domain in recepient then the above error occurs.
System is pointing ISP's DNS.
