Hi Gurus, I know this has been asked many times before, but I am still
little confused as how to implement it. I have two quad interface cards
on my server. One card acts as primary and other as backup. Currently, we
have two ports configured on primary card and if anything happens to
primary card, whole card fails over to backup card. All the ports are
connected to different switches. So to look at :- qfe0 --fails to -->
qfe4qfe3 --fails to --> qfe7 qfe0 is --> 192.168.81.13qfe3 is -->
192.168.83.32 qfe0 and qfe3 are connected to different primary switches
and qfe4 and qfe7 are connected to backup switches. So when a failover
happens, backup interfaces picks up the same IP addresses. I want to use
multipathing to achieve the failover mechanism. Any help will be
appreciated. TIA and will summarize. -dj
