Hello,
I am trying to configure some LDoms on a T1000.
Everything was going great until after the reboot of the host domain:
The ldmd service isn't running. The reason given in the log file is:
fatal error: No such file or directory: Unable to open VLDC
instance /devices/virtual-devices@100/channel-devices@200/virtual-channel@0:hvctl
for contacting hypervisor
However, I am completely unable to run any ldm commands, so I'm not able to
configure the VLDC device.
Somehow I need to put ldmd back into a state where it will accept
configuration commands.
I've tried setting the bootmode to factory-default and the situation remains
the same.
Does anyone know how to create
/devices/virtual-devices@100/channel-devices@200/virtual-channel@0:hvctl
when ldmd is not running/useable, or else, know of a way I can purge the
existing LDom config and go back to a default config that will allow me to
make changes (again, without using the ldm commands, which aren't useable
because ldmd is down)?
Thanks,
JW
