Hey everyone:
I had a quick question. Is there any way to make a secondary disk
bootup-able from a diskcopy? I'm mirroring the boot disk on a v100 server
using a ksh script I got online..., and it mirrors it fine. The problem is
that the /etc/vfstab doesnt show this backup drive in there..., and when I
boot the server using a command like 'boot disk2' from the OpenBoot rom, it
doesnt bootup because of the conflicting information in /etc/vfstab. Would I
need to swap the hd's around if the primary died or is there a way to tell
the server that the backup disk is usable and get it to boot with the 'boot'
command?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thx, and have a great day...
