Good Morning.
I got responses from Peter Dowling and Brad Morrison for their responses. i am still to resolve the issue. I did take your advice but the problem still persists.
What i have doen so far is to reinstall the OS and veritas. Veritas now tells me the it is " Unable to read the disk geometry " when i try to initialise the array. A format in Solaris gives the same error message as before.
Could this be because one of the disks in the array is damaged and needs replacement? How do I identify the faulty disk if this is the case?
I have also installed a different version of Veritas - v 4.0 and could it be failing to read the disk because it was previously initialised using v 3.4?
