root file system fuilling up

Hello

I have a system that is has root at 94%. I have emptied the logs in /var and in the /var/spool directories.I have also removed some files that I had ftp'd to the server. Is there any other place that I can look to find files that i can remove or empty

Another thing is we are using Veritas and RAID 5. maybe this would give me more places to look into?
