ACROREAD display problem - in non interactive mode

Dear Sun gurus,

I have to convert PDF to POSTSCRIPT (PS) files using acroread command.
The problem I am facing is that as long as I have x-server running on my
local windows desktop, I am able to convert the pdf -> ps. But, if I
close the x-server from my desktop then it is ending up with the
following problem:

$ which acroread
/usr/bin/acroread
$ acroread -toPostScript -shrink -pairs Solaris_quickref.pdf
SOLARIS_POST_SCRIPT.ps
(acroread:29767): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:
$ echo $DISPLAY
<LOCAL_DESKTOP_NAME>:0.0

At some archive, I read that Xvfb can solve this problem by putting
virtual display (x-server) at server side. The command they mentioned is
:
$/usr/openwin/bin/Xvfb :1 -screen 0 1152x900x8

Now the problem with above command is that solaris 10 doesn't seem to
support the switch "screen". Is anyone having any solution to this
problem?

Please note that I need to convert the pdf using scripts and cron jobs.
Therefore having x-server running on my local desktop will not be
solution.

Thanks,
Vikas
