I've installed Xerces-C (stable version for Solaris 6),
but I have solaris 5.8.
So, I'm trying to install XML::Xerces 1.7.0-1, following
these instructions:
Build XML::Xerces
1.Go to the XML-Xerces-1.7.0-1 directory.
2.Build XML::Xerces as you would any perl
package that you might get from CPAN:
perl Makefile.PL
make
But, I'm getting error message:
make
make -C Handler static
Usage : make [ -f makefile ][ -K statefile ]... [ -d ][ -dd ][ -D ][ -DD
]
[ -e ][ -i ][ -k ][ -n ][ -p ][ -P ][ -q ][ -r ][ -s ][ -S

+=value"... ]
make: Fatal error: Unknown option `-C'
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target
`blib/arch/auto/Handler/Handler.a'
Anyone has any ideas?
