Thanks for all of the good answers, folks. It's been pretty mixed.
I'm glad that I'm not paranoid for being nervous, but I'm also glad that
a lot of folks think that we'll be all right in the long run.

Meanwhile, I'll just keep my resume updated and out there.

Jane

Subject: Patching multiple systems

My boss wants to patch all 26 servers at the same time. I keep saying
that this is a BAD IDEA,
but he won't listen to me, and I can't come up with any really good
reasons why not, other
than a cold chill down my back.

Am I being unnecessarily wary, or is there a good reason why this
shouldn't be done?
The patches have already been tested on other machines, so we know
they're good.

Jane
