consistent High CPU utilisation

Hi,

I need a clarification.

We have Sunfire E2900 Servers. The CPU utilisation is consistently very high above 90% and sometimes even 100% very frequently ie during peak time. Will this phenomenon have any impact on the hardware. ie if this situation continues will it cause the server to crash.

Can you please advise on this.
