Need Help on Taking backup

Hi,

My Sun Enterprize 250 has crashed and require OS re-installation. I am
able to boot using CD as single user. I am able to see the files present
which I need.
Can any one help me on how to take backup?
The server doesn't have Tape drive. There is only a read-only CD drive.

Looking for suggestions.
