Dear Managers,
We are seeing this error in our backups.
DUMP: Warning - directory at inode `1552380' vanished!
DUMP: SIGBUS() ABORTING!
Dump aborts.
* I know that one of the things to do is to run fsck on the filesystem,
and things generally clear up. We have done that, but to no avail.
* The backup is being done on a "live" system and i know that could be a
problem too.
Open ended question. What are the different things that could be causing
this problem
-> Stale NFS file handles ?
-> Inodes getting created and destroyed during dump ?
-> live system ?
-> FS inconsistency ?
Your help in understanding this problem is appreciated.
Regards,
