metadb slice

I already have a system in production with 4 disks..... The boot drives are
mirrored.......... However, there is a data slice that uses all of the other
disk that I wanted mirrored.....

Someone when it was jumpstarted forgot to leave any space on the other
disk (not boot drives) for the metadb slices...

So do I have to have (I know I should) have metadb's on every disk????
