I have a new v245 and have some weird config issues:
this machine has the ip firewall up and running
ipfstat -io gives
pass out quick on lo0 all
block out on bge0 all
pass out quick on bge0 proto icmp from any to any keep state
pass out quick on bge0 proto tcp/udp from any to any keep state
block in log quick from any to any with short
block in log from any to any with ipopts
pass in quick on lo0 all
block in on bge0 all
pass in quick on bge0 proto icmp from 128.233.0.0/16 to 128.233.22.102/32
pass in log quick on bge0 from 128.233.0.0/16 to 128.233.22.102/32 port = 99
pass in log quick on bge0 from 128.233.0.0/16 to 128.233.22.102/32 port
= 898
pass in log quick on bge0 from 128.233.0.0/16 to 128.233.22.102/32 port
= 528
pass in log quick on bge0 from 128.233.0.0/16 to 128.233.22.102/32 port = 20
pass in log quick on bge0 from 128.233.0.0/16 to 128.233.22.102/32 port = 21
1-so I have port 898 open because I can not get the SMC to work I
thought the IPF might be blocking it?
2-when ftp to an outside ftp server and login when I ls I get nothing
it just hangs , I am assuming this is a
firewall issue as well
any feedback on these 2 point?
