trouble with sunray server: Xservers not getting populated

Hi folks,

I'm trying to integrate a Sunray 3.1 server into our environment without any
luck. After install and configure, everything seems to run, but the Xservers
file (/etc/dt/config/Xservers) is never populated so Xsun's are never spawned.
Many many utdtsession processes are launched and never exit.

/var/tmp/utdtsession.$$ files generated by all those processes all seem to end
with this error:

+ print -u2 Missing session specification (-s option)
Missing session specification (-s option)
+ error=true
+ [[ -z ]]
/opt/SUNWut/lib/utdtsession[450]: dpyparm: parameter not set

(I can provide complete sample copies of the output files)

It's not at all clear to me what's going on, so I'm not sure how to diagnose
this.

I was successfully running a Sunray 2.0 server in the same setup previously.
The 3.1 server completely replaces the 2.0 server (fresh install of OS and app
both), so upgrade issues and version interoperation are not at issue. The
sunray server box is a Sunfire v210, running Solaris 9 4/03 with a current
patchset, 2GB RAM, dual processors.

I need to get this working soon, please help. Email me directly and I will
summarize to the list.
