Hello,
I am sure I must be missing something but,
It looks as someone has changed the root passwd on one of our machines,
and cannt remember what to.
Restored the shadow file from a previous full backup prior to the change
but still cannt log in.

Returns immediately - not pause at all.
Any suggestions. Machine is sunfire v800 Sol 8 Generic_117000-01.
