I'm at my wit's end here, Sun support can't figure it out so far.
I have an nfs v4 share between two boxes, and the client loses the share
after a period of time and can't get it back.
when the share is locked up, i umount -f it and try to remount it, but I
get this:
NFS compound failed for server bla.sdsu.edu: error 5 (RPC: Timed out)
unsharing/sharing on the server and restarting nfs/server has no effect.
If I reboot the client I can mount the share again, only to have it lock
up again eventually. It seems that sometimes tab completion sets it off,
as in I type "ls /export/share/bla<tab>" and all of a sudden the file
share is down. Weird eh?
Any ideas?
