I have a SunFire4800 Solaris 9 rev.0 that is booted by a D240 and have a
2x3510 storage.
Info:
Release: 5.9
Kernel architecture: sun4u
Kernel version: SunOS 5.9 Generic 118558-11
OS: Solaris 9 rev.0
Problem:
The D240 is in a split bus configuration with a daisy chain devices.
In one of the bus there are three devices: the root disk+ DLT7000+DDS4
In the other bus: another root disk+CDROM.
The DLT7000 had a problem anda now everytime that I touch the DLT, the bus
gets a lot of transport errors.

The Veritas that manages the mirror boot sees that and put the root disk off
(detached) after verifying that can't write to the disk.

.
This is a big problem for me, because I have to reboot the SF4800 to both
disks of the D240 gets ready and sync.
I replaced the tape for a new one and the problem remains...
How can I make a bus reset without make a reboot and how should I solve my
tape problem?
Is there any split bus bug that I don't know?
Thank you.
