Hi All,
We've had a working solution for Jumpstarting Solaris 8 & 9 servers for a
while now using ce cards & Solaris 8 & 9 flash archives. Recently, our
procedure has stopped working & it appears that the system is no longer able
to boot from the network using ce0:
Rebooting with command: boot cdrom -s new

I give up - I can't find an IP address - please enter one: 10.0.0.10
and the interface name: ce0
and the netmask: 255.255.255.0
I need the address of the nearest router: 10.0.0.1
add net default: gateway 10.0.0.1
I cannot contact the server - please fix the problem!
In this example, a physical cable attached to correct VLAN was connected to
the onboard NIC 0 on a SunFire V440.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone else know how to resolve it?
